November turned into December - and I finished my little essay on Rwanda. Yay me! I finally decided on a topic for the Rwanda paper, and finished writing and editing that boy and sent it off for grading. What a relief to be done with that!

Lately I've noticed that all the people I see begging at off-ramps are (what I think of as) white people. I wonder what that means in the larger socio context? (What it means in terms of long-range ramifications, upbringing leading to, values imbued, stuff like that)

Is it true that motor vehicle drivers must give a bicyclist three feet of clearance?

If so, this is a sucky law and should be modified to make the clearance minimum at least five feet. Just the wind force blow by of the car can be dangerous to a bicycle.

Someone on my tweetflist sent a warning about playing a game through Twitter called "Mobster World" - apparently playing the game turns your Twitter account into a spambot as part of the game TOS.
