*shivers* Strange. But I think this might by the cutest and fluffiest haunting thing I've ever heard about: moving stuffed piglets and making them kiss. <3s all around.
That is unusual. And if it is your mother sending a greeting from the other side, then it's a very sweet thing and a gesture she knew you'd understand.
I've had a few odd (but in no way frightening) experiences after people I've loved died, and it's been enough to make me think that the old ways, when people believed there was a veil between this world and the next instead of a solid wall, could very well be correct.
It's such an interesting thing! I really don't know *what* to think. I remember, though, you telling me on here about the phone call that your father-in-law had from one of his sons soon after his death, and I'm sure that strange, inexplicable things can happen.
Edited to say: doh... make that the phone call your brother-in-law had; not his father. Now that would *really* have been head-spin stuff! *VBG*
I think it's the sweetest thing and I do think it's your mother, continuing her "inside jokes" with you at this end-of-the-year-time-of-reflection. It's special, Piglet, treasure it.
I think it could be my mother. It's hard to see who/what else it could be! If it is her, then I entirely agree that it's very special :) Weird as it is, it's not frightening, somehow.
The whole thing about it NOT being frightening is a pretty good clue (at least in my mind) that it's something good, something sweet. If that makes sense...
I just think that's strangely cool. Okay, the rationalist side of me wants to double check you don't have a cat or anything, but I've never quite been able to bring myself to UNbelieve in the supernatural, if you know what I mean :)
Isn't it weird?! We have no cat, btw. I spent ages trying to work out what could have caused it, but there's nobody here atm but me and my sister. And I entirely u/stand what you mean about not being able to UNbelieve :)
