Baron Martin and I used to do this when we were both young and single (now he is old and married and I am still fabulous). We'd get together about once a month or so and check out a different cultural cuisine. Pretty easy to accomplish in the Bay Area. Had some truely amazing meals. Too bad blogging wasn't a "thing" then--maybe we could've developed our own cult following. ;-)
