My roommate of the last 9 months is moving out this weekend and taking her kitty with her. The frees up the space of 2 complete entities in the Bungalow. It has been great having her around--having someone to split the housework with and an actual human to talk to in the evenings has been nice--but I'm more than ready to claim that space back. I really haven't done any sewing for the past 2+ years. I have a hard time wrapping my brain around this fact given how all-consuming that activity has been in my not-too-distant past. Like red6count , I am also cranky at our beancounters today. Last year they decided to outsource our IT support to HP. Now we burn many, many unproductive hours each day trying to get our computers and networks to work, but they don't because HP has completely farked them up by migrating the whole company to Vista, and each service call takes literally ( Read more... )
