hey, i really hope someone can help me out...i use adobe photoshop version 7 but for some reason whenever i try to use a brush on anything, it doesnt show up but in the history section it says its there.

i was also wondering how to edit my photos to change any flaws on my pic, say if i had a pimple, how do i get rid of it?

thank you so much!!

Brushes are kinda tricky, and in most cases it's best to create a new blank layer on top of the layers stack in the layers palette to do your brushwork on.

I don't have CS yet, so I really have no idea. I wouldn't think that there would be a difference, but to be on the safe side check the file extensions of the brushes you are trying to use. The correct extension should be .abr - try and install one set and see if it works.

I just recently upgraded to Photoshop CS and yes all of my old brushes from previous versions work with no problem. I did find though that some of the really old plug-in applications don't work but with brushes you shoul have no problem
