On August 31, my beautiful baby twin boys, Tristan and Asher, were born.

They were born really early, at 28 weeks.

They are so little and they are strong, but they still have a long road ahead of them in the NICU.

Having to leave them everyday at the NICU is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life.

Oh! They are beautiful! Congratulations! The time they're in hospitall will pass quickly so take care of yourself really really well while you get prepared to take your babies home. Two things I will tell you:

1. I was supposed to be born in late February. My birthday is Jan 6. I could fit in the palm of my father's hand. You know me now. Don't worry -- they're being taken care of.

2. I went to the ICU for a massive alergic reaction to strawberries (or something in strawberry ice cream) when I was a very very little baby. Again, you know me, I'm still here and all giant and crap.

They will be fine and home soon.

Oh my goodness!!! I hadn't been keeping up with your blog but of course the baby pictures caught my eye. Congratulations!!!!! You are an amazing and strong woman and I'm sure if your twins have half of your spunk they will do fine in life. You will be an amazing mother and mentor to them.
