Boot Camp (Day 5)

Well we all survived a week of boot camp. I feel pretty good and can feel it working. Today basically did interval training -- ran a few blocks did squats, ran another few blocks did lunges, ran more did heel lifts. I can't decide whether I like that more or less than just running for 25 minutes ( Read more... )

One week down! Wasn't so bad was it? Maybe you'll inspire me to get my butt back to the gym. I've been contemplating it for the past few months. Obviously I haven't gone back yet, but maybe once I get there I'll want to work out again.

Anyway, looking forward to hearing how it goes next week. Enjoy your sleep tomorrow morning!

It really wasn't so bad it went quickly. Go workout go workout -- I need people to share my misery. In fact I think I have sucked 2 of my other friends into boot camp. It is much better with other people.

I will definitely post pictures of the deck this weekend.

At 5:45 am the heat wasn't so bad. What was worse was that I have a huge meeting this week and the Beckham game last night so sleep has been somewhat non-existent. But I also decided that I would start on a horrible week and that way if I survived the next week would definitely be easier.

I ran 13 minutes today, so keep motivating me! I alternate and do 3 walk, 3 run, 3 walk, 3 run, 3 walk, 3 run, 3 walk, 4 run, 5 cooldown walk. :)

That's great. Building up slowly is definitely the way to go.
