I am perlexed by my inability to correlate my thoughts for long enough to be able to record them here.  Everything that seems to swim through the ephemeral carapace of my mind and occurs to me is brought out in contrived and oddly written verse or prose which even I have trouble following after certain continuous and superfluous readings of the ( Read more... )

Phillips, you are once again correct. I have read it, but I do not find your presence oddening in the least. I shall come over for that chat, and if I must, I will sit on your bed and stare at the window until I see the same thing you do.

Oh, relax, Lovecraft. The weird rectangular/ovular object forming in your window is the reflection of your weird rectagular/ovular head. Smoke some of the 'dro you keep in your basement and mellow the fuck out to your normal, eerily calm self.

And nothing happened between me and the missus other than a delightful dinner and a horrible movie. Right, Jane?

I'm not really accustomed to movies like 8 Mile, but if you say it was bad, I believe you.

I'm not entirely sure if that's the cause of the shape in the window, however, or else I would have seen a reflection as well. Perhaps Phillips' house is somewhat haunted?

It doesn't. Ulthar keeps clawing at it when we're alone, but he ceases to do so when Jane visits.
