Lucius Malfoy lay prone on his stomach, nose peeking in the crack under the door. The Dark Lord had been leaving cryptic hints in his feverish speeches for weeks now, and Lucius was fed up with not knowing why. Admittedly, lying on the floor in his Death Eater robes, mask caught on one ear and dangling, arse in the air, was a not particularly crafty. Dust was tickling his nose now, and he flared his nostrils desperately, in danger of sneezing of the Dark Lord threshold. Lucius felt quite sure it would not be appreciated. He shifted. His knees were beginning to hurt. So was his chin, come to that. Whomever was speaking with the Dark Lord was speaking in a low, muffled voice and Lucius couldn’t hear a thing. Just as Lucius was giving up, the door swung open without warning.
“Fuck!”
“Father?!”
