Zacharias had never been to Egypt, and Cairo surprised him, with its boys on bicycles and dusty footpaths and teetering apartment blocks. The Old Relics Society guestbook listed that Sirius Black stayed there for three weeks when he was sixteen. Zacharias tore it in half. He then had to spend three hours in a local cell repenting the destruction of public property before he Obliviated the guards and broke himself out.

That was brilliant. My favourite tthing by you. Anmd it's PG Gen. Serioulsy, the way you write, the little things, just fantastic. And Snape. yet again, I hate him. I just do. I loathe him, I blame him for everything. Irrational, i know.

I love the way you implicated that bastard Dumbledor. And I'm glad you cleared Sirius with someone before he died :'(

I loathe all the characters in this, I think. Except maybe Sirius. Weird, I know, but maybe it's just the setting.

I'm glad you liked it so much *grins* I blame all that crap about truth in English, personally, and too much Orwell. Thanks. :)

I loved Zacharias, he was great. Just enough swearing and cynicism and disregard for freedom of thought. I see the Orwell.

And Sirius. the way he just sorta gave up was so heartbreking, but right in a way.

I think you can still see the slash in there. If you squint.

You know, out of the four characters, Sirius is the only one that's not a bastard. Amusingly enough.

I like this style and it really works with the fic, slowly and subtly letting the reader know what the fuck was going on. And yeah, it does remind me of Fucking Exams.

And you know you want to expand it. You really do. Purhaps some deleted scenes. Zach and Severus havng a good time in Sydney. In hiding in France... Oh the Severus/Zach love...

Anyway, I loved it. Simply brilliant. Of course it was all because of my fabulous betaing sc
skills...*snicker*
