THE SLYTHERINS CAME BACK just like JKR said in an interview. And I am so pissed that out of everything else, the movies have decided to follow the books on this.

I always assumed they were just fighting in the same general vicinity, and both got hit by killing curses separately. For some reason I never imagined them actually dying together, or even one knowing that the other had been killed. So the hand-holding thing the trailer was kind of mehh for me.

isn't it canon that the Slytherins joined Voldemort? i know JKR said they all came back to fight but Voldemort said to Lucius in DH that Draco didn't come and join him like the other Slytherins did. unless Jo meant something else, she lied about that.

I don't remember anything about the Slytherins joining Voldy, and I've read the book six times. Do you know what part of the book he said that?

it was in The Elder Wand chapter, page 641 (US version), in the shrieking shack when lucius is begging voldemort to let him go to the castle and draco. voldie says he did not come and join him, like the rest of the slytherins.
