Written in response to a prompt at bitesize_bones - What if Brennan remembered the details of the attack in "Man in the Morgue" that ended with her injured and covered in blood and Dr. Legiere dead, while she and Booth were en route back to D.C. on the airplane? Knuckles white as she clenched the armrest. As she clutched the... --- that was an amazing line. Loved it.

I'm really glad that you didn't try and reconstruct what happened here. It would have seemed like overkill, I think.

Aw, thanks so much, hon! I'm so glad you liked this. I think we all wish we'd seen more of the two of them after it was all over. There's no doubt he would tend her so carefully.

Yup, Mr. Knight-in-Standard-Issue-Body-Armor always tries to be there for her. Why won't she let him?

It's true, I think we all wish she would let him help her more. But I think her strength and independence really attract him to her. We all know strong women are his type!

Fingers crossed that she does let him, someday soon...

Well done. A story idea has been nagging me and Its just out of my reach. However you might be the one to write it. What if Howard Eppes had surprised Bones or Booth that night? What would have happened if he hurt Bones that night how would things have played out.

PLease dont feel like you have to use this idea but you did so so so well on the one above. It wont leave me alone now maybe that its out to the right person it will.

I LOVE The story above. I have always wondered what Booth did after he got time for one on one with Bones. Would she let him holder her or what.Thank you for answering that one for me. GREAT story. Looking foward to more great stories to come.

Very glad you liked this, bb! I really enjoyed writing it. And as far as the story idea, you never know! I'm right in the middle of a big multi-chapter story on ff.net, but maybe after I'm done with that I could devote some time to this.
