So today my cast was removed, and they did not put another one on, I was also referred to physiotherapy to learn how to walk once more (and get better mobility in my elbow).
This is pretty good news, means I'm recovering well (in fact the doctor said I had healed very well), the only down side is that I have to go back for one more surgery to remove ( Read more... )

Then they'd like to admit, even in the shitty venue they played here. So I was in the market for a new Universal remote, my old one had died (five years of abuse) and was no longer in production, and I was getting sick of all the remotes (at bare minimum 1: TV/DVD, 2: Amp/DVD, 3: iPod Dock, 4: Digital TV Box)
So the remote I ended up purchasing was the Logitech Harmony 670 at about 150$CAD

Well I have made the final decision on the vehicle I will be getting to replace my poor old Echo that was written off, a Toyota Prius.  It was really either that or the Camry Hybrid for myself, but the selling aspect for the Prius was head room, this is actually an issue with many new cars, because compacts are built taller instead of sleeker I sit ( Read more... )

Well it's been two days since the pins were pulled and the cast put on, but I can say with authority, I absolutely hurt less, and am much less uncomfortable.  Other then the odd itch and twinge my foot has not felt this good since before the accident ( Read more... )
