Always running late
I'm almost always late returning to work after lunch. It's because when I go home, I curl up with a book in the breakfast nook. The sun streams in from the window, pleasantly warm and perfectly bright - it's a part of the day perfect for reading. I would be happy if I could spend all day in that moment.
But I can't. :( -

Apparently I get sleepy after migraines.
I never knew this before. I've never really had migraines before. By all accounts, this was mild but I'd still rather not repeat it. Kthxbai. -

Is it sad that I just squealed in joy to pull out my racing boots?
I figure there's no better way to insulate your feet for 5 hours of driving. Ahhhhh, this is going to be nice. I'll probably pass on wearing the matching gloves. That feels a bit like overkill.
