With exams looming, I decided to cut sleep back to two hours and twenty minutes a night.

Luckily, the witch's movement has died down a bit, probably because I haven't had enough time to spare for it.

Expectedly, I've reached maximum revising productivity hours. Well, 24 a day would be ideal, but I have to save something for NEWTS.

Watch out,

Is that an actual threat? Or just a remark based on the amount of revising hours you're clocking? In all honesty, I think it's wonderful when somebody takes their schoolwork seriously, but -- well, sleeping so little is actually going to hurt you, not help you. Surely you've already had some difficulty functioning properly?

Yeah. Clearly you're already intimidated.

Don't think you can trick me out of it now.

... Right.

Ernie, I think you need to see Mme Pomfrey.

Um. Less sleep doesn't actually aid productivity does it?

No, it doesn't. Bodies need rest to function properly, just as they need food and water. Not sleeping may give you more hours to do things, but you won't do them as well, nor will you perform better later at whatever it is you're attempting to do.

I thought not.

Ernie, did it ever occur to you that by behaving like you are, you're only encouraging them to attack you? It's like a taunt. "I'M INVINCIBLE" and the next thing you know, you're being eaten by a Dinosaur.

You're crafty Bones, you know that? How's your study time looking?

Well and efficient without damaging my overall health. It helps when you worked on revision for the past month instead of waiting for this week.
