Yes, everything is fine. It was actually with an air of resigned irritation in my apartment that I called the cops last night, as opposed to fuming rage in an unexpectedly vacant parking space, or dizzyness from kidney loss in a hotel bathtub

It has probably been proven somewhere that once something finally gets bad enough to warrant calling the poe-leece, whatever was bothering you will stop shortly thereafter. (much like a clunking car that won't act up at the mechanic, or the sick pet that magically gets better at the vet's office)

I witnessed this phenomenon this many times living in our ghetto-fabulous townhouse in Eastsiyeede Bal'mur. I thought about putting 911 on speed dial for a while :)

I remember that you lived in quite a Colorful district, yes- I've never had that opportunity myself, and I'm grateful for it, while feeling mighty sympathetic to you guys for all the stuff you likely got to call in that was probably much more intimate than some lady shrieking profanities a block away.
