I feel that getting this promotion with the withdrawing of Herr Faust will make things harder for me when I decide it is time to return to Africa. I suppose this is a sign that I can only do what I can while I'm here, so I might as well make the best of it.

It seems the hospital has taken on a few more patients while I was away. I was surprised to hear that the nurses were having trouble with a few of them. One to be more precise. Once he calmed down he seemed easy enough to examine but those injuries may take awhile to heal fully. A few stitches would have helped speed up the process ( Read more... ) -

It seems like a lot of patients are making their recoveries from seasonal colds. The weather's a nice change from what they usually get out in Africa but I do hope they're fairing well.
Maybe I'm paranoid.

I received a letter from Dieter this morning, he wished me good luck on my career here in America. It is nice working with others in a funded hospital again but I feel like there are others who deserve the help more. I suppose I can only work my hardest for now.
