My internet access has been restored.  :-)

Had my first day on my new job yesterday.  Spent some time with some of the more experienced employees, starting to learn the ropes. 
I think this is going to be a very good change for me.

Just got the call, I start my new job on August 10th!

Got a car Friday, a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am.  Nice smooth ride and 30mpg.
Last night on my way out of...that place.... I got a flat tire.  A hole in the sidewall, not like a nail or something I might have run over.

Had an interview today for another job.  It went well.
I hadn't been back home for two hours before they called me to set up a second interview for Friday.
I'm hopeful.  This would be a better job, I think.  Better pay, better schedule, less stress.
Keeping my fingers crossed....

Had a blowout on the way home tonight.  Don't know how I'm going to get another tire as I'm busted till next payday.  I can't run 50 mph on the donut for 9 days.

This car trouble sh...tuff.....is getting old....quickly.
