In my quest to find employment, I've joined LinkedIn which, although seemingly quite popular, I have never heard of before in my life. So I filled out all of the blurb, sounding just as ridiculous and insincere as all job applications do, and had it scan my Gmail for other users. I think it is definitely DEFINITELY a big steaming pile of bullshit.

I'm assuming you've exhausted all the usual job sites?

Well I've signed up to that Jobsite thing advertised on the TV so maybe that'll come up with something. The problem is that the type of jobs I want aren't usually advertised, so I've been sceptical of websites really. They tend to only advertise executive-level jobs.

yeah, I just wondered because I found a part time job quite easily on a job site but I agree the full time ones are pretty specific.

I signed up to Reed quite a while ago and they e-mail me about 20 times daily to tell me there are various vacancies. Don't know if any of them would be relevant to you, but it's got to be worth a try... =)

reed is pretty good, but sometimes they do get a bit vague in their suggestions
