Cocoa has gone back to his daddy now. David came around in his big BMW, and Cocoa went absolutely mental when I opened the door. I think he must have thought he'd gone for good or something. It's the first time he's been away for this long.

as for minis just how much is insurance going to be? surely more money needs to go into getting decent quality mini...insurance can't be cheap

Well a Mini 998 that's not too rusty but still needing a bit of attention can be £1500 ish, although they vary hugely - it's more dependent on luck. Although I want one that I can gradually do up like a retro Cooper. Parts are dirt cheap after all.
As for the insurance, I thought it would be a lot. But I checked with Admiral and it's about £900. That said, I know someone younger who has one on classic car insurance for £250 (!), but I don't know what the terms of that are.

classic car insurance is usually cheaper, but they've really started cutting back on the mileage they want you to do in them.
but then again that depends on the car and the company so...
whatever you do with the car, just remember i still have to get in it :P

Hm yes, getting you in it may be a problem. Although you'd probably fit into an old Mini better than a new one.
