Deception Eight: He's Broken

He picks up the phone. It's to the entire town because he's not sure who else to filter it to]

[The sound of... gunshots? Edward's uncomfortably reminded of the "death of his parents," and immediately sets off to find the culprit. This young man, just killing drones left and right? He won't stand for it. He pulls a Batarang out of his sporty new utility belt and hurtles it towards Johan, hoping that perhaps it'll knock the gun out of his hand.]

[It does knock the gun out of his hands and he looks over at the man.]

Can I help you?

[He marches over to Johan, a cane in his hand, and swings it forward towards his head.]

[He'll take a step backwards.]

I see. Trying to stop me?

Well, you're no Tenma but I suppose that was never an option here.

[tries calling]

Johan! Don't believe the lies. Whatever the town left for you, it isn't real.

[I'm sorry, your call can not be connected because Johan is currently laying dead in the snow.

Come to investigate?]

[Investigate he does! Less than five minutes pass before Germany is walking quickly to Johan's address, rifle slung over his back, face set in a concerned frown. Why did he answer..? Where is he?]

[Because he is currently on the ground. A single gunshot wound in his forehead.

More interestingly there is a body of a young woman who looks remarkably like Johan sitting in a chair. She is also dead. The gun is off to the side and there is a small piece of paper next to him.]
