Well, I'm not exactly sure how I feel about things right now. They aren't great, but they're definitely not too bad. Well everyone, the time has come.
My family has just left for Montreal and I have the house to myself!
Which mean party at my place.
I have lots of beds and couches for people to sleep on if needed.
And everyone is welcome as long as they won't trash my house or puke in a place other than my toilet.

Outside the storm is collecting, getting stronger, ready to pour down on this garbage can of a planet. And Inside, my heart is pounding. A little thunder never used to bother me, but now it sends my body into panic. I don't think I'll sleep much tonight.

Well, I just found out a few hours ago, that a boy I grew up with died yesterday.
I don't have any of the details or anything but just knowing that alone is enough to make death real to me, more real than it has ever been. And it frightens me.
