I'm considering getting a tumblr, because that's what most people seem to have now?

Thoughts? Opinions? Statements? Preemptive Electronic Restraining Notices?

Not sure what I'd really post though, beyond stolen pictures. Not that I'm guessing most blogs are pretty much just that? (and daily event notations and ranting)

There are ways to credit pictures, and a lot of people post up screencaps and original pictures & artwork. There are also tumblrs that are purely for short stories and writings.

Tumbler's not bad, not that I'm using it. I follow a webcartoonist's periodically, since that's about as often as he posts on it. I can't see any need to make the jump myself, I'm mostly on FB, and I'll still post the occasional thought/link/nonsense on LJ.

I definitely encourage you to do so. Though it seems a bit simple at first, it still quite fun to use and enjoyable to interact with others. (I need to stop making mine so personal, though, maybe, and just keep that stuff on here, good grief).

I could live without it, but then again that can be said about most social media (WoW excluded). So if you want to make one, by all means!
