1) Isn't Neji in the second panel at the bottom of this page2) But this is the big shinobi alliance! Alllll shinobis are friends now! ...hem. I mean. Honestly, I get what you're asking, I think, but if a jinchuuriki kid can magically make years of war between Suna and Iwa disappear, the Third forgiving Orochimaru doesn't seem much more absurd
( ... )
2) Oooh. I like the possiblities of her continued infatuation with Sasuke being rooted in her weird background with Orochimaru.
Both Ino and Sakura (Well, mostly Inner Sakura from Part One, but also there's a gag about a male version of "Sexy No Jutsu" in Part two at one point that Sakura drools over) have stated similar things about men. But you're right; I don't think we are meant to think it is appropriate behavior.
3) Thank for explaining what happened a bit better.
I do pretty much read it now as a fanfiction fodder. And I've definitely made the stories go a different way (most recently by bringing Neji back form the dead, lol). But it still seems depressing how some of the story seems so rushed over. That's life though :)
1) I agree with ishime - that's totally Neji. Compare with his last image from chapter 614 (http://www.mangareader.net/naruto/614/17). And it's Hinata in the panel next to him, which I think implies that she's his most important connection.
2) I think Karin's portrayal is mostly for humor purposes, which does feel kind of cheap.
3) I doubt he's actually going to die. Of course, I have also convinced myself Neji is coming back to life so...

2) Still sad. Though it does contrast with how much Sakura is NOT doing that (showing her growth, maybe?)
3) I am convinced Neji will come back too! Heck, if all these Hokage can, right? ;)
