My favorite video game is Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I love it because it's strategic & challenging, and it's got a great linear narrative for such a small, simple-looking game. Not only is the story touching, but also surprisingly philosophical.

While watching the first presidential debate, I was struck by the examples that were for and against staying in Iraq.
McCain said he talked to a mother of a fallen soldier, who said, "If you leave Iraq now, my child will have died in vain."

nostalgic coast
Today I spent all day with my dad, which is something I haven't done in a long time.
Just like old times, we drove to Narrow River Kayaks, where dad keeps his dugout canoe. I rented a kayak and we paddled up the river to the mouth at Narragansett Beach, where people gazed at dad's craft and and asked him all about how he made it. This is good for ( Read more... ) -

Being graduated is weird. Real life, coming up... whenever I want it to. That's weird too. It's like a strange psychological test. No one's telling me how long I'll be allowed to stay at home and relax before I start looking for work; this is suspicious.
