Okay, I've cooled down a bit.
I want to correct something I said in my previous post about the two MIA cousins. I said their mother was the catalyst keeping them away from the family. I SHOULD have said their mother was ALLEGEDLY the catalyst for keeping them away from the family (granted, this was coming from a biased source). Granddaddy's (or Grandaddy's, if you prefer the single D version)service was absolutely awesome. The choir was wonderful, my cousin gave "family remarks" off the cuff and flawlessly, and the participating pastors all did a great job ( Read more... ) -

I went to the Thirty-Sixth Charleston Highland Games and Scottish Gathering last weekend for the second year. I'm coming back!
Tell all of your friends and family, after an 11-month hiatus, I am returning to normal (ha!) life. For those who don't know, on October 2nd, our home burned, and we pretty much lost everything. It's not easy being green... or is it?
I went with the band Palmetto Pipes and Drums to the Charleston Highland Games last weekend. If you've never been subjected to bagpipes and drums non-stop for eight hours, I must say it is an experience. Happy September 11th
