Last weekend rocked. Went up to Northern California for Anne's wedding. Sean and I spent the weekend with Linda and her bf, Alan. Good times were had by all. The wedding was amazing. I found a roommate just in time to not have to pay double rent. Yay! Nate (my new roommate) moved in last Saturday. He's a little older than me (early thirties). He's working towards a masters in education, which is pretty spiffy. Really friendly and considerate. Always a plus ( Read more... )

Nothing really to report except the fact that there's nothing really to report.
Currently working at the lab because I desperately needed to get out of my apartment. I'm slightly stir crazy. Slightly. ;-p On the plus side, that's the worst of my issues at this moment.

There are wildfires across parts of San Diego County, but so far they're far enough from me that my only problem is the smoke. Campus is closed tomorrow because of the poor air quality. So I'm leaving my apartment as little as possible to avoid inhaling it.
Hopefully it'll all be under control soon.

Apparently my roommate is moving out in 30 days. So I have until then to find a replacement or I'm responsible for paying twice the rent ( Read more... )

It's immensely funny how life works out sometimes.
Sean's coming to visit me this weekend. I'm so crazy excited. Should be rather interesting in a good way.
