Nicholas's funeral was today. The church was INCREDIBLY packed...sanctuary filled up, people flowing out into the narthex, the fellowship hall...basically anywhere there was standing room, there was a person. track meet @ wesleyan (sp?) today...PR'ed on the 110...broke my previous record of 17.19 with an impressive 16.50, AND a win. best part about it...the guy i beat three steps...and i four step...so i take what...about 9-10 steps more than he does. BOOOOYAH ( Read more... )

whoo...what a HELLUVA workout i had today. try doing a full flight of hurdles at competition height...that's ten hurdles set at 39" each...once, then having to do the exact same thing the other way, with only a 5-sec rest. i dunno about you other hurdlers out there, but i was DEAD by the 2nd half of the 2nd flight...*DEAD* i say! but it was good ( Read more... )

shocking, isn't it? i totally have a new update. so apparently the track team, being a smaller group now, is being treated like the elite group it is...hah. but yeah...instead of getting the regular infantry/cannon-fodder training, we're now getting souped-up, shiny commando training...that was a bad analogy. oh well. but yeah...semi-tough ab ( Read more... )
