I think a huge part of the reason why I play Ky Kiske as well as I do is because his personality has several things in common with my own. Lawful Good? Check. Devout Christian? Check. Possesses leadership skills? Check. Strong work ethic? Okay, well, I technically have one...it's just selective to things I really care about. Strong sense of right and wrong? Yep, that's there, too.
Hell, even some of his character development matches with how I've changed over the years. I used to see things every bit as black and white as Ky did prior to Justice's death, and have been learning to incorporate shades of gray, as Ky has been doing in every game since the original.
Though of course, he and I look nothing alike, and our pasts couldn't be more different, but you can't come that close.
