1/4 of a Century, eek

Feb 04, 2003 12:49

I'm 25 tomorrow. So many things I'd wanted to do by now...

Ah well...

I'm planning on a few drinks in the pub then on to the Arena (oh so different) on Friday, anyone free?

And don't worry about it your just having a quarter life crisis, Dave did the same thing last year.

Think of it this way, at least you have goals! I achieved my life aim (to go to university) several years ago and now merely drift aimlessly..........

I think a bit of a pub thing sounds like a plan. the Southfield?

as for the 1/4 life crisis thing. I'm not sure I had one. I think instead I periodically have a "why hasn't someone given me millions of pounds" crisis.

Up for drinks on Wed, but not for Arena on Friday (seeing as I need to get my project done)

Well I guess I could go for pre drinks on Friday (but Ireally couldn't afford the timne to go to the @rena)But though that seeing as your birthday is Wed, then perhaps you might like to have a drink on the day.

The one I used was borrowed from work.

They are on sale to the public, try:
http://www.dawne-timenet.co.uk/tin.htm
http://www.rnid.org.uk/html/factsheets/tin_equipment_to_help_manage_and_live_with_tinnitus.htm
http://www.shop.rnid.org.uk/RNID_Shop_Tinnitus_devices_5.html

I can give more sites if needed. There are various kinds from pure hardware (a box next to your bed to pure software (a PC prgram using the speakers to generate the masking noise). The RNOD sheet talks about combined hearing aid/generators or generator add-ons that can be bought or even gotten for free on the NHS.

I'll see if I can borrow the one from work for a few days as a test.

I'll look into the possibilty of modding a hearing-aid.
