Wait... it takes 2-4 seasons for my couples to do that!
Okay, fellow New Amsterdam fans, let's chat about the episode and why I'm wondering already if I'm once again doomed to angst-hell with one of my couples.
- So I was just sitting there last night, tired, enjoying John and Sara's cute little date when suddenly she kissed him. Um, yeah, it usually takes my couples 2+ years/seasons to work up to THAT. So that was a huge shock but I was pleased... kept watching the episode, still enjoying it... then BLAM, they sleep together? In the fourth episode? Yeah, so have I picked a couple again that is going to start out as THE couple but will end up as the underdog couple, a couple living in angst-hell?
This leads to the big questions: Is Sara "the one?" Or are they going to turn this into another triangle-from-hell with Sara/John/Eva? I hope there is no triangle and personally, I just don't see the whole Eva and John thing. But since my choices in couples tends to threaten my sanity on a daily basis, I'd like to hear other people's thoughts.
Speaking of losing my sanity, let's talk Lost, Ji Yeon...
- As everyone else has said, Michael being on the Freighter was *yawn*. No big surprise... except for his haircut and no Walt. Then again, they have to have something to keep him in line. But when he wrote the "Don't trust the captain" note, I was like "No, Michael, we don't trust your murdering-Libby-and-Anna, interrupting-Jate ass!"
- I'm jumping on the Kate ship, sorry Juliet fans. Maybe, just maybe she drew Sun the map because she doesn't trust Juliet. Because if we hadn't been shown that Juliet is being truthful about this ONE THING, we wouldn't trust her either. And Locke aside, Kate probably didn't want Sun wandering around the black-monster-filled jungle. AND... sadly, she probably thinks that Sawyer will keep Sun safe from Locke. You know, because Sun still hasn't told Kate what Sawyer had Charlie do to her - NO, I'm not letting this go... EVER. Which leads to...
- Sun had the perfect opportunity to tell Kate what Charlie did to her under Sawyer's orders. Sun asked about Charlotte hitting Kate on the head and knocking her out and I was YELLING at the TV, "Sun, now tell her about when YOU got hit on the head. It'll be a bonding moment!" ;)
- Jack is the hottest man alive. Seriously, the biggest Lost mystery for me right now is how Kate can refrain from jumping this man...
- We've known for a while now that either Sun or Jin was going to die in this episode. I just love Sun so I'm a little ashamed to say that I've been hoping for some time that Jin is the one that dies.
- Okay, so every spoiler source out there has been saying that Jin is one of the Oceanic 6. mysticxf pointed out that Jin's tombstone says he died the day of the crash. So, it would appear that he doesn't make it off the island... I'm so confused.
-I think Juliet was wrong for telling Jin about Sun's affair but what bothers me about it the most is that she yelled it out in front of everyone. Um, perhaps Jin had the right to know but did the other Losties need to hear it? Oh, and for the record, I still don't like Juliet and I HATE Jacket.
Next week: So who dies? I'm a spoiler hound and even I don't know. I guess I assumed it was Jin. We know how tricky those promo people are - I figured that we would find out HOW Jin died. Oh, and why in the hell is Locke's camp and Jack's camp sitting around, talking about Michael? That or it's fancy editing because I saw Sawyer and Kate in the same room together - I swear, if Kate runs back to Locke's camp because she finds out about the Jacket kiss, I may come even further unglued.
Is there SERIOUSLY no one on my flist that watches American Idol? Top 11 tonight, baby! :)
