Just saw the news that FOX has cancelled Terra Nova. Apparently they're going to shop around to other networks and for the sake of its fans, I hope they ship it over to FX or Sci-Fi because it seemed like an enjoyable show. wow, that was odd
In February I got 1 unemployment payment, income tax return, my sister paid me the majority of what she and her hubby owed me, and I got the money for the temp work at my mom's job (hence only 1 unemployment payment). Got a call from unemployment basically telling me that because I got a severance package, they'll deny my claims until they calculate I've used all of that money. But I should keep going to their site and plugging in places I've applied despite this ( Read more... ) -

holiday spirit is out in force
Went out for some quick grocery shopping and was in the pet aisle where an employee stocking the shelves had a large cart of stuff blocking half the aisle. Knowing I didn't want to block the whole aisle, I tossed seven cans of dog food into the cart and asked my mother if we had any chew bones for the dog. Went to Target to pick up a folder for my resumes and references, and Super 8, and while I was checking out, I looked up because I felt someone looking at me and there was this guy. Last night I went out with some friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. Dude is an Eagle Scout, so when asked what he wanted to do, he said he'd like to shoot some bow and arrow.
