I read your sporadic posts because I feel like they provide a unique insight into an interesting mind. I’m no artist but the feeling that something you once loved and found solace in has become tedious is something that I can relate to. You have a brilliant mind and as a result you seem to be more often plagued by thoughts that are darker and deeper than most can comprehend. I don’t know if things will improve or if this is really all there is to life but I have to believe that there is something better out there and that one day it will all become clear…or at least clearer. I don’t think that this response will be particularly comforting in any way, but I know that at least for me it is reassuring to know that someone is listening…even if you feel like they can’t possibly fully understand what you are saying. It does help to get some perspective from other people. Sometimes I think the scariest part of existing is the isolation we're forced into feeling. Even around a crowded group of people can make me feel like a turtle with its head stuck in its shell. Maybe all the psychological madness is just a phase in growing older, but it's still vivid enough to be disconcerting.

Thanks for reading my long-winded rambling, though, honestly. I hope things are going well for yourself.

Things are going well enough so I guess I can't complain. I however have a story that is not very interesting but I thought you might like it. Whilst hanging out with my parents a couple of nights ago my dad said something along the lines of "this is boring, let's do something else, lyss call cayce to come play trivial pursuit" haha. Well I found it amusing anyway. I hope this does not inspire any recurring dreams about my father giving you cartoon books about frogs as I know that has been a problem for you in the past. I just thought I would share because my dad enjoying your company for board games has got to make you feel just a little bit better...or maybe a little bit creeped out, but either way it's something.
