We enrolled the tyke in a Speech & Drama class at her school and after 11 lessons, it culminated in a short performance for the parents. We got the results we wanted, which was to boost her confidence and as a bonus, she enjoyed every lesson. In fact, she looked to Saturday afternoons cos it meant Speech & Drama!

The other evening, we went for a spot of shopping at Taka cos they were having their annual (semi-annual?) sale for their cardholders and with my first paycheck, I decided to treat the lovely husband to a bottle of perfume cos his Polo Black was running out. 12.09.2009 - Spot interesting position at JobsDB.com. Realised that have to apply for job itself at corporate website of said Medical Institution (MI) instead of emailing resume. Irritated as need to spend more time filling up form. Decided against applying.

17 September 2009 was certainly a date to remember by. Top of my list was the birth of baby Myiesha. She joins the Abdul Karim clan as its youngest member and has the honour of sharing the same birthday month as her gramps - just 4 days apart too! My lovely daughter is one real chatterbox. Recently, tired of her incessant chatter, the husband introduced the "Keep Quiet" game, where the person who keeps quiet the longest, wins!
