These things we buy are not for free
Gen; 3,712 words; Boy bands didn't last long, Myungsoo knew that, but the band name 'Infinite' was extremely misleading even for someone who didn't believe in eternity.; for kpop_olymfics (originally posted here). Thank you, Team Future, for the wonderful experience!

The economic life of gadgets and machines normally lasted for three years. )

omg. omg. wait, let me collect my coherency first.

so this fic is absolutely gorgeous, in a painful and realistic way. the way you write myungsoo is perfect, and his relationships with the others, how they change along the way, how he changes; it blows my mind. it makes me tear up a little, the fact that this can actually happen. that they will end, one day. but you put this end beautifully, like, even though it's sad and bitter, but there's this one drop of hope that you put in there, that makes me feel like something good will happen. and it's good. it makes me feel great.

i love the characterizations of each characters; how they act in here seems really plausible in real life. and the end, gosh, i don't even have any word to explain how much i love it. how much i love this. this is definitely one of the best infinite fics i have read, and i adore you so much for writing this. good job :)

And besides, we don't get cheat sheets in real battles! You think this happens in real life? Because really, really, if we get cheat sheets in real life, then we might as well cheat death!

Whoa, this is deep.

Well *takes a deep breath*. Group disbandment fics usually give sad tears to my eyes, but yours is different. This is so realistic and beautifully written. And I love how you characterize the members and that you develop Myungsoo and Sungjong's characterization realistically.

And the WooL. Me gusta.

Getting the characterization right really means a lot, especially since this is my first time writing them, so thank you very much! I'm really glad you liked this :)

I rather ship them, too! They're particularly touchy, haha :)

w o w ~
this was so amazing, really. I'm not sure how to put into words how I feel, but OMG.
It does make me a bit sad, because it's about the boys leaving at different intervals for the military, but they all come back in the end and form a new group!
jkljlk
;~; all in all (without anymore incoherency...) I love it~
Thanks for writing such an awesome, thought inducing fic c:

I REALLY CAN'T. LEMME GO FIND SOMEONE ELSE'S COHERENCY AND STEAL IT BECAUSE MINE IS GONE.sobs this was just... oh god. i completely lack words to properly describe what i think about this fic; it's gorgeous and amazing and beautiful and every single thing about it - the characterization, the plot, the timeline, the phrasing - everything was flawlessly written. :') ♥ i adore this so, so much, you have no idea! the fact that instead of writing like a futuristic!future fic to fill the prompt, you chose a realistic, very plausible and possible (and as much as i'd rather not think about it, near) future. the setting that you elaborated on was absolutely beautiful *u ( ... )
