 Amongst other things, I'm completely incapable of bringing myself to wear my nice shoes (i.e things with heels that men can't wear). I'd buy shoes because I think they're pretty, and that I'll wear them when I need to, but every time I put a pair on, I find myself coming up with some fairly absurd reasons for not wearing them. you say that now, but people are visual creatures, girls who do it up get noticed and liked upon initial contact.

THat's if the guy falls for the what-is-beautiful-is-good syndrome. And frankly, the girls who get all made up really don't have that big of an effect on me, because frankly, I've found the "hot girls" to be reprehensible enough enough of the time that I'm actually more likely to not like them on initial contact and only like them upon getting to know them better. So ha. :P

what is important is not really whether or not nice shoes ultimately have much of an effect on life, but rather that you aren't doing what you want to do - and you should.
