It's the freakiest thing, but some of the coolest music I've heard is the BBC's countdown music, and news intro. It's just so much better than the crap that you see here in the USofA. Everytime I hear the graduation song, I feel a sense of glory, pomp and Occasion. It evokes a feeling of purpose and scholarly achievement, with a large dollop of "Go West, Young Man!
