I think I'm going to vomit.

Had a thesis-based breakdown, only very small, so Mish gave me a very small piece of a ... vaguely... legal calming philter (prescribed to his parents), and now I'm rosily tapping out rewrites of Chapter 1, at about 1/3 my standard rate.

the new kitten is so curious that I see mostly her hind in poking out from under couches, chairs, pillows, and so forth. it's almost a shame, as she has such extraordinary eyes.
