yes. they're all getting married.

i brought to someone's attention that it seems always to be the ugliest people i know. and the person agreed with me and said that it has to do with ugly people jumping at the first chance they get. the rest are christians or militaries. the christians do it for sex, i'm assuming. the militaries do it just in case their legs get blown off overseas, so when they come home someone will still love them. i haven't figured out why everyone else gets married. but it makes me a little nervous that all the people i've always hit the same wavelength with, they seem farthest away from that glistening prize of maturity.

yes. i think there's some truth to that. i adore the callousness with which you address the military situation. i agree.

also, yeah. the people i consider people, for the most part? have never been more terrified of the notion.

yes. i believe that if breedings were sanctioned by sane ppl, the world would be a better place.

fear not. you won't catch my ass near a bridal registry till at LEAST 25 and a half. and the fact that i just referred to "25 and a half" as a real, measurable age pretty much insures the truth of this.

I adore you OH. SO. MUCH. call me after work tomorrow.
IT IS SO TRUE! Samantha called it "spreading like the plague" I seriously feel like girls are doing it to have something to talk about at our "5 year reunion" (side note: EVERYONE ELSE thinks it is weird we have that. Reunions start at ten years everywhere else on earth)
I can promise it will not be me anytime soon. and I second Elizabeth's comment about if you marry before 25 it is appropriate to not expect ANY presents from your friends.

yeah. in 96% of csses, if you marry before 25 the only presents you deserve = electroshock.

What is truly terrifying is when those friends begin to reproduce and actually expect you to be EXCITED about it. A college friend (and I use the term 'friend' loosely) is married to a woman we're all convinced is insane (but then she'd have to be to marry him) and they just had a second child. In less than 2 years. She's 23 and a mother of two. He's 24. Did the shiver just crawl down your spine too?

dude. we are going to be 23 in 4 days. and i am so far away from ever wanting kids that i am unable to process the notion as anything except "knocked up".
