Infestations are serious indeed, we recently rescued a ferret and a week later I found out the two she was boarding with were COVERED in fleas. I freaked out. Fortunately, we were safe, but I vet medded all the ferrets as a precaution. I can't tolerate the thought of icky blood-suckers in my home.
The thing is, aside from the obvious infestation risk, which is a real problem in Montreal this past year BTW, it was his cavalier attitude I didn't like; I don't ask him to do much of anything here (mostly cause when he does do something it's always half-assed and I have to go in behind and redo it so not much point), but this is serious and his usual lack of rigor has no place in this situation. It's just so hard to deal with these things when yer hundreds of kilometers away and working 75 hr weeks!
