Didn't sleep much last night. I'm sure no one is surprised by that. Managed to get up and make it down to the gym with Emach by 8:30AM for the parade. Marched. There are days when I really despise how dysfunctional I'm capable of being. This is one of those days.

Back to training, almost caught up in my last two classes. Obviously something went wrong however, because I'm still ready to train for another couple hours and I already did 2.5 today plus conditioning at home. Oh, and apparently people at the gym actually care about my well being and notice when I'm not there. Huh.

Helio Gracie, the man who was instrumental in making BJJ what it is today passed away this morning in his home in Rio de Janeiro at the age of 95. Sympathy and best wishes to his family.

Everything was sorted out eventually. They're still idiots. They got my money on the 12th, and didn't post it onto my account until the 15th. Lucky they have bullet proof glass. I had a bad day. Suffice it to say that a whole shit-load of things went wrong. Apparently having a bad day makes me much better at Muay Thai. Also I got to watch Urijah Faber get the shit knocked out of him by Mike Brown 2:22 into the first round. So I guess it balanced out some. Also, the financial office at the college sucks. All my school is in the afternoon, all my training is in the evening (excepting Saturday). Thusly I have time to work, and still can have some sort of a shadow of a social life. I don't know why people keep harping on me about the social thing. Sparring IS social!

This is the first time in a while I've needed it, but when I dug I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was still there just waiting to be harnessed.

Yup, it's 5 AM and I'm still up. Getting back to needing only 6 hours of sleep per rest period is good. I had a good birthday. Dave and Busters with friends. Jay invited a couple of old friends of his unbeknownst to me, who turned out to be worth a damn. So that was good too. I guess that's about it.
