I am in Navato, Ca with my family..... this week i had a bad fall. and today i go in for surgery. one titanium plate in my right arm (connecting to my shoulder) and one titanium plate with pins in my right wrist. apparently i will have problems with TSA for the rest of my life. but a full recovery is otherwise expected soon. i just want to play

That's fucking intense. I can't even imagine what that must be like. I get scared when I lose my voice for a day. But this is not a tragedy. It would be a tragedy if you let this defeat you. But you're not going to. You're going to rock this temporary inconvenience. Pun intended.

Isn't it funny that we say things like "feel better" or "get better soon". It's as though they are commands. It's as though I am telling you not to come back to me until you are in better form. Like if I were to say "take care", would I really be telling you to guarder your life?

Or would that be appropriate in this case?

How did you take such a bad spill? I assume you can type well enough. You have done well enough to post this.

I'm ok. Hope NY treats you well. I'll have to post the story/explanation later when I'm on less meds.
