We never know what we have, until we lose it. At least Bill understood what was right in front of him a bit sooner.
And yes, Laura would keep escaping the brig as many times as needed. Why did he ever doubt that in the first place?
Sad but sweet, and since I know that she didn't die then - promise to the future.

Yeah, Bill fell in love pretty quick once he saw what was right in front of him. :) And it is nice to think of all the promise the future holds for them at this point.

Thank you!! And I'm glad you liked this little piece. I actually might try to write a few more of these small moments. I've been so busy lately and my muse so troublesome that I haven't had a chance to write any full blown stories. But these sketches are a nice way to stay in touch with these characters that I just love so much.
