Tomorrow is my birthday and it will be bittersweet.

Tomorrow is also Dani Golden's birthday.

Sometimes I wonder where she would be in her life had she lived.

Today I:

-got a brand new car
-saw the Cure play at the Hollywood Bowl
-got a sticker from a midget
-watched a transexual in West Hollywood rub his nipples for me in traffic

Today was a good day

I am sitting here in my pj's watching my co-worker and her family being interviewed for a segment on Dateline NBC.

Why?

My co-worker's brother was murdered by his wife then buried out in the backyard where it was later found. This recently happened.

So the house is finally done and we have turned our attention to the outside.

We turned the old built-in stone bbq into a shrine for Buddha..it looks amazing.

We made the patio enclosed and added lights..it looks awesome.

Joey found a severed decomposed cat head in the bushes..I am not shocked.

It seems like the death of Dani first brought everyone together and now everyone is falling apart. Some people are pulling out the "I knew her better and longer so what do you know?" card. Some people are turning it into a "me me me" situation. Some people even go so far as to say "She didn't even like you" which I must say is one of the most ( Read more... )

Every couple of years I delete my lj and start fresh and that is what I plan to do once again. I'll make a friends only post for my new lj name once I get it all set up. If you aren't on that post..sorry it was a good run.
