I cry over good literature... and good literary masterminds.

RIP, Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

He wrote the first real piece of literature I ever read: Breakfast of Champions.  From that point I was basically in love with all his work, and I've read almost all of his books and annotated the shit out of them.  He truly mastered the art of unifying bitter cynicism and an appreciation for the humor and beauty in everyday ( Read more... )

Days Behind !!

I'll just copy/paste what I wrote about this on a forum rather than put any more thought into this than absolutely required !:

"This is really a shame, the world only gets so many minds of his caliber.

I suppose at least if any positive can be taken out of this it's likely to get his work one last burst of exposure."
