2007 has been a relatively productive and relatively drug-free year thus far. I've joined a gym, shot a gun (in a firing range), and very smoothly bought some random guy at the bar a drink (we'll have two jack and cokes, and that kid over there, whatever he's having, get him one of those). you know, to the unsuspecting outsider (like I myself was at one time) seattle is a pretty alright place. just be forewarned - closing at the bars by law is 2am, and around 1:15, the lights come on and the drinks are stripped away from you. seattle hasn't quite caught on that it needs to grow up and be a real city. =) but it's definately worth checking out.

Ahaha, I'm used to the whole bars-closing-at-2 thing. They close at the same time down here in good old Tucson :(

Any suggestions of amazing things I should do while I'm there?

well, for outdoorsy stuff, the japanese garden at the arboretum (backside of cap hill) is pretty sweet, and so is just hanging out at golden gardens park (ballard ( ... )
