I just heard on the SciFi channel's "in search of" that we're facing a robot armageddon. won't that be cute? I think so. I wouldn't mind being a robot pet, which they're saying we'll be, because there's always the chance I'll get one of those cool beds with my name on it.

i honestly think that already happened. they're not robots, but media spectacles and policing and advertising. the robot thing (and 1984 and all that other stuff) is the spectacle's way of saying "wouldn't it suck if this happened?" when it has happened.
