So, I was watching the History Channel with my mother earlier, and they were showing mini-biographies on all the Presidents. We got to Andrew Jackson and the Trail of Tears, and my mom looks me straight in the face and says, "Wow, Andrew Jackson was a fag." I thought I was going to choke from laughing so hard. Yes, she was very annoying, and her nose pissed me off.
I find myself humming that song constantly, by the way.
So, any other good musicals you know of that I should watch? I think I may like them more than I thought.

"Fat Girl" is one that E and I have been eyeing for a bit. Is that a thumbs up from you?

"Dead Man" was cool. I dislikes "Crash" but loved "Brokeback", the sadness was because it didn't win the Oscar.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Fat Girl was alright. Sad and odd, but I thought it was worth my time. Just watched another film by the same director (Catherine Breillat) called Brief Crossing, and I thought it was way better. No huge elaborate plot, but a lot of emotional resonance. It's so interesting to watch these movies with so much shift in sexual power. Americans have a bad habit of dumbing down films concerning people losing their virginity and they turn into some silly comedy where everyone is ok in the end. Nice to see something a little different, and in some ways, a bit more accurate on the emotional side of things. Or maybe I just like seeing naked French men. That might be a little closer to the truth.. :)
