A more substantial post

I meant to do homework this evening, but instead I spent hours listening to Holst's The Planets suite over and over. Seriously, if you don't listen to any other piece of classical music ever in your life, listen to this one. You can keep your Beethoven and Bach and Brahmas, give me Holst or Grieg or Dvorak or Rimsky-Korsakov any day ( Read more... )

Holst is by far an underrated classical musician, have you heard his other stuff besides the planets? I think some of its even better.

And Shostakovich... Gotta love him.

Well, the campaign sounds intruiging. I wish you luck with that--although in reality you have no need of it, because at least we know that your campaign will be better than your current DM's. As for the plethora of poorly-written plays, you have to expect that. Those type of issues are forefront on many students' minds at this time. They just have yet to learn that that doesn't neccessarily make good theatre.

Although I'd be interested in reading some, just for something amusing to do. :) Email me, man.
