The sims room isn't in quite the same state as last time; the walls were repainted a respectable military beige several months ago (though by whom is probably up for debate). The layout of chairs is much the same, though, along with the sims pushed together against the wall, and the tables beside them ( Read more... )

This is the part where everyone wanders in (or possibly is already here) and talks among themselves, possibly for a long time after the briefing's technically supposed to start.

Well, Wes is busy sitting up there on top of the yellow sim, working in his notepad.

Working ... and not drawing mini Ewoks or anything, really.

There's a quiet, furtive sort of noise in the corner. Amazing how quiet a very large anthropomorphic horse-type can be, when he's being sneaky.

Recognizable, but sneaky.

Kell walks in cautiously. Something about being part of a plot to split off and form a rival squadron makes him a little wary...

And then someone--something?--unusual, but familiar, catches his eye.

Cue the freeze-and-stare tactic.

"Runt??? Sithspit, did you finally find your way in here, too???"

There have been no pastry fights. (Well, there was that one thing, but it doesn't count.) Wes isn't sure whether to be impressed or appalled ( ... )
